Portfolio Review

Receive feedback on individual pieces, overall presentation, and areas of improvement. This will answer questions like, “am I showcasing the right projects?”, “should I include more life drawing?”, and “how can i make my portfolio stronger?”
1 hr, $75

A double review includes two meeting to discuss your portfolio. Feedback is provided similar to the single review and is followed by a second meeting to further perfect your portfolio.
This is best for students who do not have a large portfolio and are looking to grow their practice.
2 hours, $130

Students will receive ample feedback on their portfolios across three review sessions. Beyond immediate feedback, students can be assigned projects to specifically target missing content in their portfolios.
This is best for students who do not have a significant portfolio and are interested in growing it, however any student with enough time will benefit.

Essay Review

Students will receive thorough edits on a provided essay or personal statement with art in mind. This means the writing will be tailored to what an art admissions officer is familiar with and how to best articulate your thoughts. This will include notes on thesis, organization, and grammar to best meet the prompt(s).
Annotations on 1 essay and 40 minute review meeting $75

Not sure where to start on your personal statement or essay? Together, we can brainstorm and outline your essay to put your best (writing) foot forward.
Students will come out with a list of ideas and personalized essay outlines.

Wherever you are, we can work together to get a polished essay completed before your submission deadline.
This is best for students who are unfamiliar with artist statements and would like guidance along the whole journey.

School Research

There are a lot more creative careers than most people realize. What’s a production designer? Can you turn your cosplay interest into national ballet costume designing? Interested in making the next waterproof fabric for outdoor gear?
Students will receive 1:1 help to discuss their interests, potential career fits, and finding some schools that may be best for them.

Students will receive a personalized list of recommended schools to apply to. This will include notes on programs, facilities, tuition, and resources.
This is best for students who know what kind of major they want to pursue but aren’t sure where to apply to.
